He was born on 7 June 1907 at Drottningholm Castle, Stockholm, Sweden.1 He married Erika Maria Regina Rosalie Patzek, daughter of Anton Patzek and Maria Anna Lala, on 8 March 1934 at London, England.1 He and Erika Maria Regina Rosalie Patzek were divorced on 14 October 1943.1 He married Sonia Helene de Robbert, daughter of Robert Alexander Christensen de Robbert and Ebba Elizabeth Suenson, on 26 October 1943 at Copenhagen, Denmark.1 He and Sonia Helene de Robbert were divorced on 6 June 1961. He married Gullan Marianne Lindberg, daughter of Niels Gustaf Helge Lindberg and Thyra Dahlmann, on 30 July 1961 at Stockholm, Sweden.1

He gained the title of Prince Sigvard of Sweden. He gained the title of Duke of Uppland.1 He was created Count Bernadotte af Wisborg [Luxemburg] on 2 July 1951.1

He was born on 11 November 1882 at Stockholm, Sweden.1 He married Margaret Victoria Charlotte Augusta Norah Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Princess of Connaught and Strathearn, daughter of Arthur William Patrick Albert Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn and Luise Margarete Alexandra Viktoria Agnes Prinzessin von Preußen, on 15 June 1905.2
He married Louise Alexandra Marie Irene Mountbatten, Princess of Battenberg, daughter of Admiral Louis Alexander Mountbatten, 1st Marquess of Milford Haven and Victoria Alberta Elisabeth Mathilde Marie Prinzessin von Hessen und bei Rhein, on 3 November 1923 at St. James's Palace, Chapel Royal, St. James's, London, England.1 He died on 15 September 1973 at age 90 at Helsingborg, Skane, Sweden.1 He was buried at Royal Cemetery, Haga Castle Park, Stockholm, Sweden.
     He was crowned King of Sweden on 29 October 1950.1 He gained the title of King Gustav VI Adolf of Sweden on 29 October 1950.1

Margaret Victoria Charlotte Augusta Norah Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Princess of Connaught and Strathearn was the daughter of Arthur William Patrick Albert Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn and Luise Margarete Alexandra Viktoria Agnes Prinzessin von Preußen. She was born on 15 January 1882.1 She married Oskar Frederik Vilhelm Olaf Gustaf VI Adolf Bernadotte, King of Sweden, son of Oskar Gustaf V Adolf Bernadotte, King of Sweden and Sophie Marie Viktoria Prinzessin von Baden, on 15 June 1905.1 She died on 1 May 1920 at age 38 at Stockholm, Sweden, complications as a result of an ear infection.1

She gained the title of Princess Margaret of Connaught and Strathearn.2
